Embryoscope

Description

The EmbryoScope TM is an incubator that allows to observe the embryo development from the moment of fertilization until transfer to the woman's uterus. This is done through an image capture system (every 15-20 minutes) of all embryos inside the incubator. With this technique we obtain a large amount of information of embryonic development, allowing further optimize the culture conditions and the selection of embryos to be transferred and / or freeze. With the EmbryoScope TM we conduct a study of the division rate of embryonic development, together with the morphological parameters, we can optimize the selection of the best embryos. It is known that the time between fertilization and the various divisions of the embryo is an objective parameter predictive of embryo viability and implantation potential. Embryos that meet certain times of cell division and optimal morphology may have between 10 and 15% greater chance of successful implantation. The combination of incubator and EmbryoScope TM microscope allows observation of embryo development, at any time and without removing them from their culture environment, this is an improvement in growing conditions for the early stages of embryonic development. According to recent scientific publications, in certain cases, can increase up to 10-15% chance of success using EmbryoScope TM.
