Abdominoplasty and Liposuction

Liposuction or liposculpture (really the body is remodel and sculpted eliminating or modifying the lines which define the figure) is a surgical procedure which usually takes place under local anaesthetic and sedation, in an operating theatre and doesn't usually need admission to hospital (if the elimination of great quantities of fat is not required)

Incision of at least a centimetre are made, through which a liquid which dissolves fat and anaesthetic are introduced.Afterwards, through the same incision, the requested amount of fat is extracted to achieve the desired effect and the area is remodeled. There is NO doubt that liposculpture is one of the most intuitive cosmetic procedures there are. The skill and experience of the surgeon play the most important part, as, through a small orifice and with no visual aid the surgeon must remodel a great area giving harmony and symmetry to hips, waist, buttocks etc.
After the procedure the patient can return home with a corset and stitches, which are taken out after 5 days. During the first month reaffirming massages and lymphatic drainage are very important, to speed up recuperation and adapt the skin to its new volume.

Liposculpture obtains some magnificent and lasting results, whilst we keep our body within more or less controlled parameters.
